Burnt Wiring Harness for Headlight Bulbs?

I have been having issues where my passenger side headlight keeps burning out, I guess it's somewhat common with these cars? Anyway, this time around when I went to replace the bulb, I noticed discoloration on the harness where the bulb connects, and it looks like at some point it melted and burned

Here are the images I took yesterday: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

Could this possible be related to my other voltage/tps issue I am having here? G6 "Engine Power Reduced" Message

I wasn't sure if electrical problems with the headlight could possibly affect other areas of the car?

The headlight was a OEM replacement about ~3 years ago when I was in a small collision. The service shop said all repairs have a lifetime warranty so I am going to go that route first.

I've been having this same problem. I found that it kept burning the wiring in that area. the bulb never truly burns out. so I made a quick disconnect for it and put on a new headlight pig tail on it. I found them at oreilley's. I will get the part number tomorrow if possible and let you know.
