How does one display the full artist name and complete song title on the
DIC ?. Is there a scroll function I can turn on?? I do not care about having the station name on all the time. Can you change the default display to show say the song or something different??

you can change the default display by hitting the display key until it shows what you want it to. Then you press and hold it for about 3 seconds and it'll set that as the default.

Yes, that is correct but I don't think you can set the default to display XM Song or Artist

I have mine set to show the artist. Then I hit display once and the song name comes up.

I work as a test engineer in audio for Delphi where they make the radio. I didn't test these particular modules, but usually the XM unit just sends the amount of text data that the radio head unit requires. Apparently this radio doesn't have the scrolling capability, so all the radio receives is the text you see on-screen. Personally I think it's dumb not to have the scrolling capability. Not that hard to add. My two cents.
