I'm new to this site, and actually I'm a new G6 owner too. I just for my 2006 G6 on Friday... and really love it other than the fact that less than 24 hrs after getting it.... a girl backed into me and tore up the whole passanger side! :eek:

I about died... I couldn't believe it! So, now I'm working with her insurance company to have them replace me with a new one! Well see how it goes!

Oh man that F'n blows. I had mine backed into (less than a week after I bought it) while in a parking ramp here in ann arbor. They dented the bumper a bit but didn't crack the plastic and you can hardly see it unless the sun is on it.

Good luck with getting a replacement car. Insurance co's are tightwads and will more than likely just repair it.

Ouch.

I did the same thing. A month after i got mine, I slid into a parked van in a parking lot.

$3000 in damage. The van had a tiny scratch.

the front bumper is $3000? :eek:

I was in an accident a month back and the front end needed a little body work and they frame was sectioned off on both sides as well as a headlight, grilles, paint, and a radiator and it was only about 5 grand of a total bill. I doubt that a new bumper with paint will be 3 grand. If you just need a bumper and some paint blending I would guess around nothing more than a grand.

OH you better believe it! lol Yes, the police were involved!

There was a lot of hidden damage.

Headlight had to be replaced, fog light, fender was dented, air intake, bottom grille, bottom valance....etc.

They actually just got done today. Took two and a half weeks to fix! :(

But she looks good as new.
