Running temp 225 degrees. After ignition turned off, FAN runs for several minutes. Very hot environs near hood. Is this normal??

Does it actually run at 225? Mine always (7 months) runs at the next indicator bar down from 225 once warmed up, in winter and summer.

YES---225 DEGREES/////Has not overheated, but very hot air comes from engine afetr shutoff, ; Fan afterruns several minutes. Thanks
