When I accellerate.. the speedometer skips in stead if smoothly moving clockwise.. it like jumps in 2-4mph increments.. it might just happen when it's cold outside.. i'm not really sure because it has been like 20degrees or lower since i've had my car.. any suggestions or comments?

I think I have heard of this.
It will likely be a problem with instrument cluster. If fairly repeatible then take to your dealer and make sure you describe to service advisor the conditions under which it occurs (between certain speeds, acceleration rates) because they usually have to duplicate the condition before they can replace anything.

I'm thinking the cluster backing might be unglued in parts which makes it rub against the needle and cause the effect you see.

Some older cars used to do this if the cable was stretched and binding.

My Tach does this a lot. It will act like its stuck as its moving up...weird. Not enough for me to go the dealer about though.
