has anyone fabbed up a 2.5-3in exhuast for the G6 yet? Last time I was under the wives car I was rather disturbed  by the tiny y pipe and manifolds. I'm thinking of making my own tru dual setup or a good 3in single exhaust for it. This car reminds me of my SVT contour as it had a horrible stock exhaust on it too,but once uncorked it came to life. Just hope the G6 responde like the ford did.

That and a "true dual" / 3inch system is a waste.

UMMM not really  I've seen that system and If I wanted a quasi dual setup I'd make one myself. Thats the only option outside of a homemade exhaust for these cars?

I hope you didn't think I meant 3in true duals? yes that would be way overkill. BUt being that these are rather large v6's I don't see a single 3in exhaust as overkill especially if mated up to headers and a better y pipe setup.

Now for true duals 2.5in all the way and the y pipe is eliminated. If you don't mind me asking what setup do you have on your car or is it stock?

Well I took it as you were looking for a pre made kit, in which case that's the only option for these things. Otherwise you'll have to go get something custom made at a shop, we have no aftermarket support. For what it's worth it's a top quality system.

I'd prefer to make my own. The ypip on these cars is terrible and I'd rather just eliminat it completely and go duals. Gonna have to see what I have for room in the rear for mufflers.

A 3 inch setup is a waste, you lose way to much valocity.

i think its either borla or magnaflow thats in the process of making a full cat back for the g6...but doctorspeed.com makes a few things for the g6 like 3 different kinds of air intakes and a catback for it.he even put together a turbo kit for his g6 that he might but out on the market
