Hey, new guy posting here.

My parents just got an 08 G6, and I was looking at replacing the single outlet muffler with a stock GTP muffler. So, if anyone has one, let me know. Also need the dual outlet valence.

Thanks for any help :)

go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and get part number "22712778"

that is what i did for my dual exhaust...

takes about 3-5 days and it is there... real easy install too!!

That's for the valance I take it? Cause it's not the exhaust system....

I was looking at replacing my stock single muffler for a dual system off the GTP. Does anyone have any experience swapping out these exhausts? If so, how tough was it?

Someone here is selling one pretty cheap... I would think that since you have an 07 it would bolt right up

Ya, that's what sparked my interest. I was more concerned about actually installing it, how laborious it is, if you can get by without a lift, etc.

its gotta be the same as installing any cat back on our 6.... I just put mine up on jack stands and had a friend help. real easy. I have heard of people doing it with just having the back end lifted. all the hangers should match i bet the hardest part you'll have is getting you current exhaust off, just because getting it out of those rubber hanger are a bitch. but nothing a little whit lithium grease cant help.
