Took the Grand Am out yesterday. Was a little disappointed. Blew a fuse and shut off after burnout in first round. Try again next week.
Car went straight, front tires about a foot off ground. Ran a 6:33 and a 6:35 at 109 and 107 Mph(1/8th mile). It has some more in her. She was pretty lean. Should be able to get into the teens.
I will scan time slips when I get home.

WOW ... what does it do in the 1/4 or is it setup for mainly 1/8 drags?

I don't think it will go the 1/4 with the 5.57 rear gears. I was kinda.... nervous being first time in this car. I didn't get to see how many rpm's I was at when I went across the stripe. It will go 8,000 without muc problem. I shift at 7,200. Going this weekend and will be able to sort some more stuff out. I think it would probably go mid 9 second range if it will go to the end.

Whats the date? I live not even 15mins north of the track. (cordova). We have our first rental there here in may and should be hitting up the track more than the 3 time we made it last year. :)

June 18 and 19th. Check out the website! They even have a FWD class, of course must be Pontiac or Pontiac powered(Traditional Pontiac). We have went last two years, camp out at the track. It is a blast!
Check it out and let me know what you think!!
