I drove to home depot. Felt like a little interstate drive so I took her up to 100mph for a minute or so. I needed the speed. Ahhhhhhhhhhh:p

100mph, that's it? :) My cruise is set at 80mph on my drive home from work. 125 has been my fastest so far, I keep pushing it a little bit more each time, still waiting for the speed limiter to kick in.

Over the weekend, I replace my battery with an optima red top. FYI, for those people looking to get a new battery or upgrade. The OEM fit optima battery can hardly ever be found at local parts stores, so i had to go with the next larger one (720), it fits perfectly except that it's a little taller, so the battery cover wont snap back on. It's no big deal for me though, because it was broken previously by a mechanic that didn't know how to get it off, so it only had one snap left. I highly recommend the Optima red tops, they are about twice the price of other batteries, but you will probably never have to buy another one. They last forever, and I have never had one die on me yet!

I have an Optima in my 1995 Z28 and put one in my girlfriends 2000 Trans Am. Awesome.

I just got back last night from my first long trip in the G6. I am a manager for Fedex and had to drive from Bristow, VA to Parsipany, NJ for a management class. About 500 miles each way. While I was there I took the NJ turnpike 3 more exits over to the Liberty State Park and visited the site of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Very neat. :)

Not sure, but I do have Geico roadside assistance. They pay for a locksmith to come out and open the car.

Changed the air filter. I went with K&N.

I went online and prced new drivers side airbags and i also went to look at the crappy paint job it has i give it 8.5 outta 10.

Been gone from here for a few, sorry guys. Anyway, I took the G6 to the OBX for it's first trip there. We went on labor day for the weekend. I usually go 2 times a year and don't enjoy the crowds in the summer, but decided to go anyway. The G6 loved it.:D

Went to work with mine, then drove home and cleaned it.... Drove to a friend's then home now she is parked for the night... Exciting eh lol

waiting on dealer to call me when 4 new bose speakers and a new radiator comes in.

Wife thinks a battery can last all day with out running the engine; I had to jump start it.

I changed my muffler to a single in, duel out on tuesday and got it welded up today. I like the looks of it over the single outlet. What do ya think.

That's awesome! I have a white g6 gt and my dad and I always say it would look so good with dual exhaust... or the single/looks like dual exhaust.

Today I slapped my G6 on the dash and told her "I love you, but if you don't stop acting up I'm gonna have to get a BMW." (as if i can afford one, but my liking for BMW's must be why I like the G8s so much... only in that dark grey/black color, though...) Oh yeah, looks like I just admitted talking to my car? ha!

Today I put vinyl striping on the sides to cover the chrome.

Ok...
Its not easy to install. You need sissor and a razor blade.
Use a small piece for the back cover.

Line it up on the bottom and press it on. then work it accross. Press & smooth it on.
The razor off the excess up top and sides.

Then peel off the clear plastic covering.


Do this piece sperate. It looks better.

Its rainy over here and I still have the original tires on the car. I watched the TC light come on about 5 times on a 3 mile drive. Up grading the tires is the only mod wifie will let me do.

Will have to order a bumper absorber. Think it cracked the plastic behind the bumper cover. so.. 120 for absorber 127 for headlight = 247.00 worth. I tell you what. The g6 is pretty tough on the front. Hit the deer at 50mph. deer flew across the road and hit a telephone pole i think.

took it to the dealer. said i didn't need an absorber and .3 hours labor so it was 130 for headlight and 34 for labor. not bad for first deer with the car. I'm sure it won't be the last.

i just got mine back from the dealer. i had the front hubs replaced at only 60000 miles and my wiper transmission motor died when the ice and snow hit the other night. turned them on and nothing. Next will be the rear. It is now making a similar noise in the back as the one the front hubs were making.

BTW, sorry i haven't been here much. Work is keeping me busy.

Dual exhaust bumper valence is scheduled for delivery today, ordered my O3 intake from Lampoon, and waiting for the confirmation that my order is complete from Classic Performance for my GT-R exhaust...I can't wait!

I tested the GXP's handling in the rain today. It doesn't rain that often in Los Angeles so I thought I do a couple laps in a vacant Kmart lot. Conclusion: i didnt crash, i'm still breathing, and the cops didnt catch me :D

YESSSS I CANT WAIT!!! I'm totally saving up for a 2010 camaro right now!! :D There's a list for the SS, so I'm going with a manual 6 cylinder. The guys at my dealership that I work at say the 6 cylinder will have just as much hp as the old z28s, because they are lighter. YAY!!! I cant waiittt. Did you pick out the color you want Justin?

Other than that you got the fender well intake. Did you get the little skirt that goes over the filter??? Just wondering your going to get alot of water where that filter is and you need the skirt that goes over it to keep it dry. Other than that congrats on the CAI looks really good!!!

I actually just ordered one. Luckily I'm in CA and it doesn't rain too much. Thank you though! I am still working on doing some other things yet. Slowly but surely getting there!

but as far as the metal tint goes i didnt get that, the tint is suppose to be better than normal tint, hell the last time i got anything tinted there was only one kind TINT lol but one draw back thats worth the sacarfice is that im a smoker and cant role the window down for a week so NO SMOKING IN THE CAR FOR A WEEK

Hey everyone! sorry its been a while....been busy. But I got a set of 18in chrome GXP wheels for my 07 G6 V6. Simple but sweet! It looks nice but not too "out there". I have 8000K HIDs for my lows and fogs but waiting for it to get warmer to do it. It was getting there then it dropped off again...damnit!

Also would be nice if I knew someone who had a heated garage or who worked in a shop....but.....thus is life!

I installed my O3 Crab cold air intake from Lampoon on Saturday and man what a difference that thing makes. So much for better gas mileage though because the intake makes me want to drive that much faster, the sound is amazing! Thanks for the great intake lampoon, I love it!

I also spoke with Sam from Classic Performance today and he said that they are supposed to be getting some supplies this Wednesday so they can finally start building some of the GT-R exhausts. I can't wait to hear the blue dragon purr with the combination of my Crab and the GT-R exhaust!

Lampoon I may have to get some rims similar to yours, I think we'll be ok though, I'm in Indiana and you are way down in Texas, don't think we'll cross each other's paths anytime soon haha!

I washed the G6 and buffed and waxed it. I used Gold Class Car Wax and the finish is crazy clear.

I installed my O3 Crab cold air intake from Lampoon on Saturday and man what a difference that thing makes. So much for better gas mileage though because the intake makes me want to drive that much faster, the sound is amazing! Thanks for the great intake lampoon, I love it!

Well I took your advice Lampoon and got me some Liquid Metal Venoms...18"s to be exact! They haven't reached the "hot" level of yours yet being that I don't have my calipers painted yet (although I did get the G2 caliper kit in red) I need to decide if I'm going to go big like you and get new calipers and the slotted rotors, I know that would make the rims look even better...I got my GT-R exhaust ordered yesterday and I can't wait to get that bad boy installed. PS...I can't keep my foot off the gas ever since I installed my O3 Crab, I have Crabs too!!!!! Hope you all like the pics! I know I do! I just installed a gentex autodimming mirror w/compass in the G6. Easy 2 wire hookup (1 key on +, 1 ground). I got it off of ebay for $35, so I couldn't pass it up. Easy to calibrate too. Will put up pics later(have to get girlfriends digital camera, LOL)

Ya some guy today on the freeway was swerving in and out of lanes and then he gets next to me and paces me. I look over and it looks like my car minus the rims. I slow down to see what badges he had and it was a GTP. I took mine off but I have the base V6. So I was like lets have some fun. Turns out it was dead even. I wonder if he was playing with me but when I let off the gas he kept going then. I ws bummed he didn't want to go another round. Oh well. It was fun. :-)

lol when i first got my car with the first couple of tunes there was a 98 ford mustand gt that had pulled up next to me on the way down to gulf shores to the beach and I beat him it was funny I had a video on my old phone but since then got a new one with a memory card. Wish you could of seen it

Right now trying to do more things to my car. My friend is going to bore out my heads and I got another friend that is going to try and fit a turbo to my car. We will see what happens then im getting a lowering kit about 1.5" and getting some good racing tires and upgrade my fuel injector nozzles and do some chemical intercooling. then I would race you right now intake and tune and exhaust would prob do nothing for me but make us even unless you have one more performance mod than me. not only that i have more weight in my car :) so yes pooners you would win in that case unless this all happens for me

Well I finally got around to getting my windows tinted. I got 15% all the way around with a 6" brow. I will get pics up soon, but I gotta take my daughter to dance class and get the car washed first.

Very sweet intake...I got my GT-R dual exhaust installed today...I love the low growl that thing makes, I'm so glad to join the GT-R family!

Okay, I am sitting at 99,400 on my 06 G6. I replaced two bearing that went out this week, fixed the pesky steering linkage, replaced front brake pads, tranny flush, front end alignment, and filled her up with gas. Looks like I am going to driver her another 100K! Am I crazy?

i had to take my new 09 g6 to the shop. the traction control went out, so did the remote start, and it started to shift hard. sucks prob wont see it till next week...

LOL. It was a guy and he was getting out. I was trying to take the picture before he got out so he wouldn't wonder why I was taking a random picture in Wal-Marts parking lot. =D

i washed my 6 engine bay and all, then painted my calipers. looks awesome ended up painting them red.

No doubt about it the coupe is a way better looking car.

Lol. I think the four door looks more classy than the coupe does, but that's just me. That's why I bought a four door. Plus having a G5 and always having to move the seats forward to let people into the back was a pain.

Sedan is lighter weight and faster than the coupe.... ha haaa!!
