I noticed i have a few spots of tar on my front bumper any sugestions and how to get it off my father inlaw uses peanut butter really he does and says it works great

creamy verry funny you can use cruntchy for nice detail etching ;)

You can buy specific Bug & Tar remover... Or you can use WD-40 or even a little gasoline on a rag. Be sure to wash the area well immediatly after, and to follow up with a coat of wax, as any tar remover will strip wax as well. Don't make me mention the precautions you must take when using gasoline in this manner. ;)

peanut butter actualy works .I did it today removed about 10 spots of tar off the front bumper the largest was about the size of a dime you just put a small amount of peanut butter on a rag and the tar just rubs off like nothing it did nothing to the shine of the paint at all weird

Must be the oil in the peanut butter. :)

How about dried on tree sap? Now that summer is here (almost) I noticed some left from last year!

Tree sap is essentially the same process as tar. Only it's more stubborn to remove. :(

try peanut butter and let me know you just put a small amount on a rag and it rubs off really easy
