Just looking for a remote start system for my 08 G6 GT. If anyone has a stock spare one or knows where I can get one for cheap, please let me know.

Im gonna go out on a limb here but with a 2008 I would wager you a big old hambuger that you are already equiped. Contact you dealership about turning it on with their Tech2 then getting the new remote. ;)

Turns out that it's going to be $255 bucks to install this option for the stock remote start.... Anyone know where I could pick it up cheaper without going aftermarket?

Do they install anything or is that to hook it up to the Tech2 and turn it on?

Get the fobs off ebay and shop around dealers for Tech2 time.
Shouldnt be $60-$80 or 1/2 hour worth of time on it.

Diff dealers charge differently....Drive there and talk to them....
Dont get quote over the phone.
