Hey guys, I know some people have some big irks with the way that GM used the black plastic side mirrors again for the G6 body rather than painting it the color of the car.

I was looking at GM's sites, and I found something for the Cobalt as an OEM accessory that you can get.

Those look like they would fit a G6, but because I don't have one (yet), I'm not positive.

Yeah you are correct this might be a long shot do you think the grand prixs would fit?

The black ones are surely cheaper to replace in case of incident. The one of my 96 Grand Prix was pretty expensive after buying and painting.

Most likely not, the shape of the mirror where is mounts to the door is where you are going to run into problems.

Well, in that case, I have two further comments and questions:

1.) Could they be painted? I haven't seen the material on for the mirrors, but I imagine they could be painted.

2.) Pictures I've seen of the GTP show a painted mirrors, any validity?

1. They probably could be painted, but the texture of the plastic is kind of rough, it would take a lot to prep the surface to be painted.

2. I have seen a couple of GTP's at auto shows and they all have the same black mirrors as the rest of the line.
