Well since my 6 cd OEM broke on my 06 G6 I am gonna buy a new one same thing but if I were to want a monsoon 6 cd player monsoon would that be possible, and if so how would I know if it is a monsoon player? Or what would I have to buy?

I recommend buying the 2008+ monsoon single CD player. That way you dont have the same CD changer issues. Plus with the 08 you get the Aux.

No, I just have the stock 6 cd player in my G6, thats why I was wondering if it is possible to install a monsoon system in my car...like just the cd player or if I need speakers and all.

I think Monsoon and nonmonsoon are the same radio. Diff being programming and the amp in the trunk and the upgraded speakers.

Just get an 08+ so you get the Aux jack.

Any new stock radio will need a few minutes with the dealership's Tech2 to program it to your car though.
