I heard on the news one night they are shutting down pontiac. Has anyone else heard this? This is very dissappointing! Well the term they used was "demoting" pontiac brand. God I hope not! Damn economy!

I think they will be scaling Pontiac down to a few cars. GM will also be getting rid of Saturn, Saab, and Hummer.

I was reading over on camaroz28.com today. Apparently GM could be pulling the plug on Pontiac as early as Monday Apr 27.

I was just at a GM dealer and they said that within the next few hours GM will announce that Pontiac along with several other brands Hummer, Saab, etc. will no longer be made. This is a very sad day indeed. Again I heard this at a GM dealer about a hour ago. :(

Wow. This is really sad. I just bought an 08 G6 GXP. Just to think, right when they were just getting Pontiac right.

Oh!! Its truly sad.. pontiac will no longer be made.. Its a nice product and many more might be wishing to have one .. but alas..!! Not now..
