I was bored, so I decided to do some math on the 0-60 times. I know I'm facing the firing squad on this subject, but after doing the math from the nitorious 0-60 estimator equation, here's what I've come up with for the 0-60 times for both the sedan and coupe. Once again, these aren't first hand accounts and are estimates, which will depend on gearing, wheel slipage, airflow, etc.

4-cylinder sedan:
Curb Weight: 3100 lbs (est)
bhp: 167hp
Estimated 0-60 time: 9.4 sec

6-cylinder/GT sedan:
Curb Weight: 3240 lbs
bhp: 201hp
Estimated 0-60 time: 8.1 sec

GTP Sedan:
Curb Weight: 3275 lbs (est)
bhp: 240hp
Estimated 0-60 time: 6.9 sec

GT Coupe:
Curb Weight: 3415 lbs
bhp: 201hp
Estimated 0-60 time: 8.6

GTP Coupe:
Curb Weight: 3450 lbs (est)
bhp: 240hp
Estimated 0-60 time: 7.3

^ I agree, but the discrepancy between the weight of the coupe and sedan is kind of odd to me.

I took the weights straight from the 2006 G6 brochure...

Wow, so I guess the G6 GTP is not as fast as my car. With performance mods the G6 GTP could be a monster. ;)
