How can I downsize my photobucket photos so that they are less than 1.5 mb so I can upload and post in the gallery? Thanks

Photo Bucket should have a re-sizing selection to do this.

Let ol Wil help you with that, I had that problem in march when I started. noone on this forum helped me I figured it out its something called paint program that comes with your xp or viasta which ever you got. with your pictures in paint you use the reskew resize button put in a lower number than 100 around 50 then put in a lower number than that your picture gets downsized that way so it will go in the uploader on photo gallery successful. you just got to get to paint program then reskew resize and start playing with the numbers. it then saves the picture at that smaller size so you can upload it onto photo gallery.... cant wait to see your ride....

but if you want to use photobucket I have no clue sorry....

Hey, thanks guys. I poked around but couldn't find anything here. Maybe need a sticky? Anyway, I'll check out both ideas. I'm sure I'll figure one of them to make it work. Thanks again :)

Look below the button you press to upload your pictures in Photobucket and you can adjust the size that photobucket will upload them to and save as.
I usually do 800X600.

Anyways once done you can always use the edit photo option within photobucket.
Rioght above the picture on the left is the Edit link. Tap on that.
now see the 4th button over says RESIZE...?? CLick on that then adjust it to whatever size you want. Then look below and hit replace original or Save a copy.

I also use a free utility called Irfanview. You can search for it and download it for free.
Its a real nice photo conversion utility.
