I have a pontiac g6 coupe 2009 :) , and on the inside by the bottom of the door there is a chrome plate. There are scratches on it, any good ideas how i can get rid of them?

Mine has scratches as well...and I haven't messed with trying to correct them.

If it's the same kind of trim as most interiors the "chrome" is actually a coating on top of plastic that is reflective.

Now that I think about it...aren't they like a brushed aluminum?

I'd imagine a good metal polish and some skill with a polishing wheel would take care of it.

rubbing compound and a buffer.. Be careful on the thickness of chrome though so you don't buff through.

If they are just a plastic coating, don't try to polish them (I arranged my words very poorly). If they are, in fact, metal, then polishing them is a possibility.
