Watched the two hour program last night on what GM did to the electric car they built, and as far as I'm concernd all the GM "SUITS" should be on the street looking for work.
What a bloody disgrace!!!

I watched that a while ago. GM was paid to crush all those EV1's. Now, the demand for alterantive energy and saving money has sparked a new electric automobile engineering again. We will see with GM's "going green":rolleyes:

That was the old GM, greedy and arrogrant.
The new GM is a lot more environmental conscious now, maybe too much.

the new GM is owned by government and the taxpayers. Although the only thing us tax payers do for GM is fork over our hard earned money......The government has the say over what gm can or can not do now. As far as I know, the government is going to keep passing emission laws to battle "Global Warming" that "we" caused.

The thing that has actually killed the electric car is the fact that electric cars can't match the performance of petrol cars. Electric cars have many many things in their favor but they are slower and have less range than petrol cars. They are also rather expensive.

poonamt posted this and four other messages just apparently so he could post advertising in his .sig. It happens too frequently, unfortunately, but the mods are really good at cleaning it up once they learn about it.
