Hi I am new here and would like to get some info. I am looking to replace my 97 Bonneville and am looking at a G6. Any serious promlems with these.? Any gasket issues with the 3500 engine. Any guidance would be nice.

I have an 06 G6 GTP with 3.9L manual trans with 72k on it no problems except the normal wear and tear, brakes, tires, oil changes, had coolant flushed @ 60k. Most have issues with the brakes warping, most replace with better pads and rotors, and others have issues with the steering making noise when turning from the intermit. steering shaft.

Welcome, I think the G6 is a nice car to own.
