They are the liquid metal rims. I kept mine 17" so I could reuse the rubber since it was fairly new. They are a vendor on here and have a section and there is a post on them in there.
I love em. get compliments all the time and they dont bend up like the stockers tend to do.
Ensur3 11-30-2009, 02:33 PM Heres a bunch of rims on G6's

geewhiz 11-30-2009, 03:10 PM Here's a little of my opinion about rims on any car;
I would try to stay with the stance of the car. We all can see that not all rims look good on all cars. If you want your G6 to look sporty then put some sporty rims on it but remember to keep a sport profile. I saw on the link provided above that some folks bought some nice smooth luxury style rims but have a huge whale tale. IMO, thats like putting mudflaps on a HarleyDavidson bike. Or, If your in the mood to go extreme then "go extreme!" Don't hold back!!! I saw a G6 a while back that had a dragster spoiler on the back of his sedan, visually that was the only mod I saw and it looked pretty bad. But if he would have gone completely extreme (like black out the windows and lights, dropped it 3" with some 20" tucked in) it probably would have looked pretty cool.
I guess all my ranting is saying "don't GHETTOhttp://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o467/geewhizg6/INE6CA112.gif your G6!" have some style!
Just my thoughts :D
y84pauloflondon 11-30-2009, 06:44 PM Thankx to everyone who replied!
I am considering 2 American Racing rims: 1) Casino No.393(17x7.5 +45)
2) Rogue No.373(17x8 +35), also Drag Rims DR19 Gloss Black(18x7.5 +42), and the 4th rim is made by Falken, Koblenz model.................Hopefully thats not too Ghetto for you, lol..........
y84pauloflondon 11-30-2009, 06:51 PM I'm just looking to add a little style and class to the car! My car has the STOCK steel rims w/plastic hub caps.......I would like to keep those for the winter! I like my cars Stock...pretty much(STOCK/ORG. 87 T/A GTA 350TPI). I'm NOT looking for my G6 to compete with Japaness shopping carts!!!!LOL
geewhiz 11-30-2009, 06:54 PM Not to ghetto for me, I just ment we should pick a style and stay with it.

y84pauloflondon 11-30-2009, 10:25 PM Believe me, I take NO offense to your ghetto comment! I know exactly where you are coming from. When you start a look, finish the the look!

It was (fake) leapard skin! :D
Well as most here know the G6 is wifie's car but since I make the payments I have a little say-so as far as mods go. I gladly tossed the "furry" steering wheel cover out and did a burn out on it to prevent wifie from re-moding with that cover.
Now, if I can just get rid of that shit she has dangling from the mirror .

Those don't look too bad actually. I like the gloss black ones more than the gunmetal colour. They would look sweet on a blacked out 6, if only I had unlimited money.
Also it looks as these particular wheels would never fit the bolt pattern as there are 8 bolts, unless there is a way to order them with the correct fit.
y84pauloflondon 12-01-2009, 09:15 PM Well, what ever I do get for the Wifie's car...LOL, I do plan on getting black center w/chrome ring rim! Ex. Falken, Koblenz model
geewhiz 12-02-2009, 03:43 AM For me, since the G6 came with five spoke rims I would keep them w/ 5 spoke. I do like the look with 18" rims too.

geewhiz 12-02-2009, 03:52 AM These are my pick if I were to slap them on wifie's G6.

y84pauloflondon 12-02-2009, 06:38 PM Man, those are nice! But I do like rims with the black centers and chrome lips. I went to a local speed shop, they told to wait until the spring to order up some rims since many suppliers are out of stock at the moment. Still really like the Falkens.....Thankx for your opinion though!!!
Ensur3 12-02-2009, 08:57 PM I plan on getting these in the summer
