Try Zaino products, they are only offered through mail order but from first hand use, I can say they are VASTLY superior to all others! www.zainobros.com

I have heard of Liquid Glass, and was recommended it for black cars, but I, also have never had any luck finding it, online or offline.

All the local auto stores around me sell Liquid Glass. It is pretty amazing stuff. After a few waxes it builds up a protective glass-like layer over the paint. It costs around $18 a can.

I have been to 2 auto parts stores and Meijer/Walmart, and I can't find a claybar system anywhere. Is there a reason why I can't buy this at a store!?!? Guess I'll have to order online.

^Belle Tire sells clay bar packages. It's more than like a Murrey's or something, but they have it at least :)

LOL very cocky and very stupid. Unless youve used every wax on the market you have no room to add that last part in there.

Zaino is good but not vastly superior to all others. Not by far, vastly overpriced maybe.

Very true, Zaino sucked when I used it on my previous car. I had to buff the crap out of it to remove it, took forever. It's only meguires NXT for me!!!

This particular thread has intrigued me & I will do some research based on y'alls recommendations. I'm liking what I hear about the Liquid Glass product (since I have a black car & all). Meguire's has always been my cup of tea... :D

Use NXT wax. It's by far the BEST wax I've ever used. Best shine, best last, best all.

almost sounds to me that Jayhawk either works for Zaino or sells the product. I don't disagree that it is a good product but hardly "superior" to any others. :)

Then you didn't use it correctly. Either you applied too much, didn't let it dry fully, or both.

Zaino, by far, beats any product out there! Whether it's ease of use or the best shine you've ever seen. There is no equal. The more coats you apply....the deeper the the shine gets. And no I don't work for them, but I know what works. I would put it up against any polish/wax on the market. Don't believe me?....Do a search online for reviews or tests of Zaino.

How long should you wait to do your first wax job? How many months, miles?

Anytime after the paint has cured for an ideal 30 days, either on a new car or paint work.

So a car with 3500 miles on it thats 3 months old, no problem?

Awesome, just remember to apply it really thin and you'll be surprised how easy it is to use especially on removal. I'm sure you'll love the stuff, I shoulda just wrote this in one of the other threads lol but oh well.

Yeah I used Turtle Wax paste on my Firebird and almost broke my arm trying to buff out the swirl marks.

Well if you want to get rid of swirl marks you'll need to switch to a polish not a wax, but yeah I know that feeling :D

Bringing back an old thread i know.

What you use as a wax/sealant is all subjective. Looks, durability, ease of application and removal are not the same for everyone even though your using the same product. I can get more in depth on why this is but im not going to unless someone wants an explanation.

There is no *best*. Use what works for *you*, but dont think that what *you* use and like are the best and cant be beat or matched by anything else. Being brand loyal limits your experiances with whats out there that you just *might* like better.

Spoken like a true autopian.

I haven't tried Zaino yet but I am sure it is a good product. I am using Klasse right now for winter, but when it gets warm again I think I will be picking up some Meznerna or Blackfire products, then topped with P21S.

Optimum, menzerna and blackfire are on my shopping list this winter, i want all the polishes they offer from all 3. Thats gonna be a big bill to pay  Specially menzerna.

^ It sounds like you guys read all the PPG articles and selected the most expensive car waxes out of them. Or are simply regurgitating what their articles said.

I personally have tried quite a few different products. My OPINION is that Zaino is overpriced for what it is..... again, it's just my opinion.

I will say though that products out there are VERY similar. Often times it comes down to the effort of the detailier themselves NOT the product being applied.

what works good on silver. I am currently using Mother's and would like to find something new that gives it that ""ping"" when you look at it.
