Forget about it! I attempted this today, got about 4 inches of it off, and found that GM drilled holes in the door. And on the molding there are plastic 'nipples' that fit into these holes, I guess for aligning them on the doors. So unless you plan on filling in the holes, however many there are, and repainting the door, don't bother trying to remove the moldings. Too bad, the car would look so much sleeker and cleaner without them.

my molding came off by itself

and took 3 days for them to fix after the part was in.

i was going to post pics but didnt have time sorry that would have saved time

So the molding isnt just glued on? I wanted to debadge and remove the molding on the car, the first try was on a coupe, does anyone know how they are mounted on the sedan??
