hello i just inherited a 2006 G6. Im not sure what trim package it is?
It has the upgraded monsoon sound system, heated black leather seats, real chrome trim, automatic with "tap shift" manual, sunroof, 17" chrome rims, and its a sedan. It says G6 on the rear but no GT or GTP badge. What trim is it? from what i understand the features I have are only available in the GT or GTP model. Can anyone help me?:confused:

with 17"s it should be a GT... what does the engine look like? got a cover? what are the numbers?

I will have to take a peak under the hood in the morning if its a 3500 then its at least a GT. :D

also will the G8 Firehawk hood fit a G6?

Yeah monsoon should be at least what you said. Agreed with need an engine info.
But then again a gtp would have 18's so im guessing

You could possible paint it too look like it.

ya i checked under the hood its definitely a fully loaded GT! its got a 3500 3.5
Also when it was originally purchased new it was about $23,000
