we have all had that question asked of us at one time or another, so here's another along the same lines;

"If a steering wheel on a G6 'seizes up' while driving and there is no Mr Goodwrench present to witness it, does that mean that it never really happened?"

my guess is that GM will answer 'YES', sorry, never happened.

Thats ok.. I have had audible noises coming from the car and took a mechanic on a ride along who couldn't hear the audience at a Bulls game. Gotta keep trying!!!!!

Kelly, you are absolutely right. i've worked in a dealership for over 25 years in parts and service and i know first hand that the LAST thing you want to have to tell your Service Customer is that you can't find anything wrong with their car. in my situation, the problem has been so INTERMITTANT that i doubt that they will ever actually experience this unless they 'just happen' to be driving one at that particular time. i definitely do not fault my service dept for telling me this, but what irritates me is the "there's no way that what you described could happen" attitude that some of our G6 owners are getting from THEIR service departments.

i said this before and i'll say it again......i love my G6 and will drive it until the wheels fall off (hopefully if they DO, there will be a recall so i can get it repaired for free) without the worry of another 'steering wheel lock-up' because when its my time, its my time and at least i will go in style!!!!!
