I have read the existing posts about this and it turns out I see some filters specific to our cars. I'll probably end up trying one of these(I have allergies and it does help). I removed my Impala's cabin filter and it was loaded with vacuum bag loads of dirt(that fuzzy big pile of debris a vaccum picks up).

I know some people tried Aura p/n's and they were either to small/big but these are listed specifically for the car.

Well I know it doesn't come with one and read the threads about it here and on the Aura forum. The cutout is clear as day though, similar to my Xterra which had it, and others did not(had the cut outs on some but no filters, and others had filters).

Hmm guess its time to cut one out.

Hi there that's kinda strange i look on my manual and i cannot see any indication that g6 has a cabin air filter (http://www.racepages.com/parts/cabin_air_filter.html).
Look what i have purchased from parts geek. This is cool! Never heard anyone installed a cabin filter on a gc6. That's interesting. maybe that is really air filter that you are talking about.
