I looked under the rear bumper and saw the gas tank leaking $3 a gallon gas from the left and right sides (where the sides of the tank are welded to the bottom portion of the tank). It's a steady drip when the car is on or off - about the same flow as a leaky faucet. NOT GOOD!

If I drive over a cigarette the thing could blow up!!!

The metal pipes coming out of the tank are completely rusted!!! I made ONE payment on this 2006!!!

I made my dealership aware and it's going in on 11-14-05 to get fixed/get the parts ordered.

Check your tank asap. If you're a smoker, you better think twice before flicking that cig out the window.

Do you "top off" the tank after it automatically stops filling up? If so, the tanks are designed to let excess fuel run out the top, it's overflow protection. I also thought that the fuel tanks were plastic, at least my sedan's is, so what would be welded to it? I'd still get it checked either way.

theres less then half a tank of gas...its leaking
