Have a 05 G6 GT and I know this sounds insane but I can't find the dam fuel filter. Where did they hide the thing?

there isn't one that is user replaceable. only the mesh filter in the gas tank and metal can filter above the pump in the tank... Hope that offers some help. lol

actually, i take that back. there isn't one.. Just go to a parts store and ask for a replacement filter, they will look at you like a dog listening to a high pitched sound when they look it up.. lol

It is in the gas tank, it only needs replaced if your fuel pump goes out. i tried for weeks to find a shop that would change it until i called my dealer and he told me.

yeah, I'm pretty new to cars but I've read all through the Haynes G6 repair manual and several times through the recommended service stuff and never read about a fuel filter. I was looking online at maintenance stuff for my wife's 1999 Ford Taurus and read about a fuel filter and I was like wtf is a fuel filter?? That's not in the recommended maintenance lol I also read that newer cars don't have them- thank you google
