anyone have a step by step on removing the front fascia?

(Someday) when i get my car back, I have a "deer alarm" that i want to install behind the grilles, but want to remove the entire fascia to do it. since no service manuals are out yet, I'm kind of at a loss...i don't like to go "exploring" for screws if you know what i mean.

TIA.

... since no service manuals are out yet,

Factory service manuals are available, though. You could likely but one from Helm but cost $135 - Dealer's use online version.

Yea, there's the 5 plastic pieces right under the hood that you pop off, and some screws in the fenderwells and under the front bumper.

How do I get those? I went to the "order service manuals" link through mygmlink and it said manuals not available yet...

You shouldn't have to take off the entire fascia. Just pop out the 5 black plastic compression pins and you can bend the fascia out far enough to do it.

Not able to bend it back. The grill is held in by clips and it's too tight of a squeeze to get it off without removing the entire thing.

What grill are you trying to remove?

I was trying to remove the top grills. Planning on painting them, wonder if it'd be easier/possible to tape it off, and spray it instead of taking it apart.

dont tape..they're really easy to take out. they come out in two peices. the chrome outside and the honeycomb inside.

I found the instruction for figure grilles and it shows how to do it.
