Hey i was driveing yesterday when i hit a pot hole and blew out both side walls on passanger side ,they were a 225 45 18 and i think im going to go with a 225 50 18 for a little more flex for the bad roads. Has anyone with a gt 4 door put these size tires on because its summer and i have stock rims and winter tires on and i need to buy tires fast.

What rims do you have?? the GT comes with 17" stock. I have a GT sedan with GXP 18" rims and 225 50 18...... no problems.

I bought a set of 18 and put 225 45 18 on them my car came stock with the pontiac polished rims with a 225 50 17 on them ,and you saying they fit? you tryed them the dont rub anything?

they came stock on the GXP...the only problem ive ever had is if I make a very tight U turn ill hear a little rubbing, but ive only done that twice.. it might be because my car is lowered too.

ok i got new tires after i went with the 45s again now i have installed eibach lowering springs i find them great and make the car look sweet and ride well i just want to fill that half inch between the front fender and mabey smooth out the ride that much more with a the 50 seires has anyone lowered theres g6 and put a 225 50 18 on there car and whats the pros and cons thanks Matt
