Hey for any one thts interested i found what looks to be the gt-r muffler on ebay. its made for the v6 camaro and firebird but looks exactly like the one gtr uses. im guna give it a try. bought it for 125. bt for whoever else may wanna try heres the part number ---- MPE-14277. its the magnaflow performance muffler. ill post a vid when i have the system all put together.

They are available through summitracing. I'd be interested to know the difference in the GT-R. I was going to go custom with a flowmaster 80, rather than wait for the GT-R but I don't want to lose ANY torque/power. My local shop definitely doesn't do mandrel bends.

it may be the same muffler, but GT-R modifies his muffler for back pressure, so you dont loose torque.

yeah idk. but im guna give it a try n see what happens. honestly im really not guna blow 600 on an exhaust like tht. for all i know its som guy laughing cos all us idiots believe its actually tuned. i mean has any one actually seen how this muffler has been tuned? results of any kind compared to any other muffler? all they say is its tuned for torque or whatever and if i had a dime for every time i heard a muffler company say tht in their advertising id be able to buy as many gt-rs as i want.

besides idc what anyone says putting an exhaust on a v6 isnt going to get you much more power at all. may help a little but were working on 6s here. not 8s.

I'm not looking for a huge gain, but it's critical that I don't _lose_ torque. If I have my local shop do a custom install I already know it won't be as good quality. It will be stainless probably 409 but it won't be mandrel bent and that is what matters most.
