I have 06 GTP with leather seats and black carpet. I have salt build up in my carpet mainly around my driver floormat. Do anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of that winter salt?

carpet shampoo and elbow grease orrrrrr a rug doctor

use warm or hot water with some carpet cleaner or laundry soap and scrub, then suck up with a shop vac. repeat untill gone.
