Hey man, I have been told that you have a lot of knowledge on these G6's. So I figured I would see if you could help me out. So, I have problems with my steering but have somewhat of a different situation (it's a 2005 V6). Here goes... the car is very hard to steer (when stopped on pavement or trying to parallel park) almost as if the car doesn't have "power" steering at all. When on gravel I can turn the wheel with one finger.Qquestion is, why the drastic change? I have ruled out a few things...the fuse is good and I have the replacement intermediate shaft. The tires have plenty of air in them as well. I have read that the strut mounts might possibly cause this. Do you think maybe the EPS motor is giving out or possibly the pinion yoke and spring in the steering rack itself need replacing? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqJD0LOmDiA&feature=channel&list=UL) That is the youtube video I found out about the yoke and spring from. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Chris
