i have a 2007 pontiac G6, V6 - 3.5L

keep Pulling code P0036

I know its an 02 sensor, but don't know where it is...

If someone could give me semi detailed info about what 02 sensor it is, and the easyest way to get at it/replace it, i would very much appreicate it...

Also i know there is a few 02 sensors, should i be fine just replaceing them as they go out, or should i just do them all at once?

THANKS A TON!

Dan

P0036 is bank 1 sensor 2, so that is the sensor after the cat to the rear half of the motor (the bank with cyl #1 is bank 1 and sensor 2 post cat sensor) Some manufacturers have a scheduled maintenance to replace, but I would just replace as they go. That is what I am doing. I had the same sensor go. Get it from GM they are reasonable and direct fit.

is there any thing i can do to test that it is actually the O2 sensor? i was reading something about swaping sensors and seeing if it throws a different code... if that seems like a good idea can i get some more info about swaping this one? and what one to swap it to... i've got decent mechanical abilitys, just don't know where i should be looking...
