i am trying to replace my front speakers in my 06 gtp. obviously i have to get under the door panel. does anyone have any tips on safely doing that? im going to gues theres a s**t ton of wiring and not to mention the window track. i just dont want to mess it up so i cant get it back on or anything.
Quite simple. For the drivers door you have tinted remove the rubber pad incidental full cup. Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the switch bezel. Then inside the handle cup you'll see an access cover, remove it and then the screws behind it. Gently pull the panel away from the door along the edges and then lift off from door. You may have to release the cable linkage from the inside door handle. Do the same for the passenger door except you need to Oryx off the pull handle trim first.
I did not see these 2 other screws. I found the star screw in the handle indent. But I can not find any other screws. There's a fastener that you press a little button to pop it out but that's obviously not holding the panel on
