Ignition Coil Replacement

I did a search and didn't find much of anything pertaining to this. I have a 4-cylinder G6 and it has 4 individual coil packs rather than ignition wires. Do these Ignition Coils need replaced with the plugs, much like you would change your wires? Or, do you just leave them as long as you aren't having any issues with them? My G6 is coming up on 75K miles, and I wanted to change the plugs...I'm just not certain if I needed to change the coils as well.

I help out a friend that had and Audi a4 with coil packs. All we did was replace the plugs. I know that's not a whole lot of help but hopefully someone else will chime in.

Pull the plastic cover from the top of his head motor coils are aligned at the top of your engine. You will then need to disconnect the connection of the coils son. After you disconnect, simply pull the ignition coils and replacing them with you.

See more on Audi recalls...
