E85 tune

Guy at Dynotuned performance in Madison WI told me I could get more HP from an E85 tune. This is logical as E85 has the ability to produce more power than 93 octane.

Would be able to run either straight gas or E85, said they install a switch for this.

Would have to have a custom tune at shop. Estimate $800 for tune and 2 days.

Any thoughts

E85 will rot out the engine internals. Only engines designed for E85 should run it or you'll be paying alot more because you'll rot out your seals.

Not worth the maybe 10 HP gain (if any at all).
