CD player issue

Hi, my 2005 G6's CD player is beggining to have difficulty ejecting my discs, I know I can't change it for an aftermarket one so I have one question. Can I buy an original from any G6 model? Is it plug and play from any year?

Any year except the 2009.5 will work as replacements. But you will need reprogramming from a dealership

Mods: GT-R exhaust, CRABs O3 w/FPU, 35% tint, 5000K HID lows/fogs, upper/lower recessed grilles, Racingline strut bar, concept darts, white LEDs everywhere

08-09 radios can be programmed to have monsoon or not but you should get the same radio you have unless you want to upgrade.

They made non-Monsoon radios in 05 as well. Only in 08 did they make them the same but controlled via the software (tune).

My 05 cd changer started crapping out on me so I swapped it for an 08 single disk (no more cd changing issues) with the Aux so I could use my iPod.

It will require a Tech2 reprogramming though. You can only get that done at a Stealership. Most charge from $0-$80.

Best place to find the 08 radio is eBay.

Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

If pulling the radio fuse for a few seconds won't work, you need repairs.
