G6 Steering Wheel Center Cap

I would like to either replace or cover scratched center cap (w/emblem) on 2009 G6 3 spoke leather wrapped steering wheel. Called dealership and they said there was no such part in the system and it must be part of the airbag assembly. I thought I may have seen pictures of this item on other sites totally apart from the airbag. Does anyone know if this part does indeed exist outside of the airbag. I would also be willing to cover with a decal if the decal was not transparent. Thanks so much for your assistance.

They are correct in that they dont make them anymore.

I have one. It was never used.

$35 shipped in the USA.
Or go the decal route....that would be cheaper.

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

How hard is it to switch out that center cap? I've had my airbag off to paint my steering wheel controls but never bothered to look at it.

Mods: GT-R exhaust, CRABs O3 w/FPU, 35% tint, 5000K HID lows/fogs, upper/lower recessed grilles, Racingline strut bar, concept darts, white LEDs everywhere

You have to take off the bag then unhook the front skin off the bag.
The center cap is threaded into slots then they are bent to hold it
on the back side of the skin. It just pushes into the slots.

Clear as mud right?
