Whistling noise on passager side theory

For anyone who has had a Whistling noise on passager side of thier G6 I seemed to have solved the problem by taking a damp cloth and working the rubber seals along the door frame, just clean them and strech them out. I was going to have the dealer replace the weatherstripping but on close inspection I could not see any flaws in it.
The design of the weatherstripping is inherent to this problem, it seems to have removed all whistling and I have taken the car to 140Km/h no whitle at all, when it used to whistle doing 100.
To ensure it does not happen down the road I think we need to keep the weatherstripping clean and lubricated with silicone or whatever GM uses to lubricate the weather seals.
