Oil Filter Replacement

Hey guys, changing my friends oil tomorrow and I need to know where the oil filter is. He has a 2006 G6 GTP with the 3.9L engine. I poped his hood earlier and looked for it briefly but I didn't see it. I am bringing my ramps over to his house tomorrow to change the oil. I already bought the filter and oil (just got the 5 quart with filter deal at O'Reilly's.

Don't have much experience with smaller cars, I work on trucks mostly, so if there are any tips about squeezing in to get to it that would be great too.

Thanks

I got it, once I got it up on ramps it was right there. On the 3.9L GTP it is on the side of the engine block (front of the car) even in front of the drain plug. The filter is up a little ways, I had a little problem gripping it at first.
