Cool Air Conditioner

Does anyone know where the heater control valve is ? The AC has been acting up in this heat . Recovered and recharged with measured amount . . It wasn't low . Ac is blowing cold / luke warm in cycles .

The temperature control valve is inside the HVAC box. Heater control valves are an extinct species.

I assume you took it in for recharging & your a/c problems continue.

The compressor could be cycling on & off (watch it & see) or your condenser cooling fan could be misbehaving.

Does it blow warm air at idle & cool air while underway?

If the output air warms up when you come to stops that is often a condenser fan problem.

Output air goes from cold to warm going down the road at 65 mph or less . Thanks for your input .

Assuming you have manual climate control, it could be that the clutch is disengaging when it gets warm due to a too wide clutch gap.
