Another Dome Lamp Thread

I am having some trouble with my dome light. the toggle switch moves back and forth with no resistance and 'bumps' along the contour of the contacts. upon further investigation and evidenced by pictures linked below you can see some wear on the contacts themselves. Is there anything I can do to fix this without a brand new assembly or should I get the whole new dome light. I believe the dealership said it would be 24 bucks for the part. My question to anyone that knows is: is this something i can just yank out and unplug a cable to the old one, plug it in the new one and put it back in place? or will there be soldering and all kinds of crazy shit to do? Thanks guys.

Probably. The whole assembly comes off pretty easily.

Switch Part Number

I searched, but couldn't find a more relevant thread than this already here. Does anyone have a part number for this dome light switch? Mine seems very loose, as described be the original poster. My interior lights will only come on in one location, and it's not even the correct one anymore. They stay on solid in this position. Any other position and they do not work at all, even off of the door latches. A pain now that it's getting dark early!!

Thanks!
