OBD ll - What is the price

To have both a general test done, and one that will actually further and dig deeper finding out the real problem? as apposed to just giving me a code? i've never had to do this sorta thing, so Im curious to figure out what the damage is?

And do you recommend going to a GMC dealer? or anywhere like Shucks Auto store? (paranoid smilie here) Thanks in advance!

No warranty.. as-is

And I found out from a GM dealer that it starts at $95 on up to over 4 or even 500 before anything has actually been fixed. HOLY crap! I just drove it to Autozone and they did it free! good lawd!

I was going to say that Auto Zone will pull the code and tell you what it is but sometimes its a seonsor and autozone craps out on those.

Anyway I have a Dashhawk and it reads the codes. Do a search on them. Its a nice tool.

All Stealerships are not the same. Shop around. Mine will diagnose just about anything for under $80.
