Question re: front license plate bracket

Does anyone know how big the holes are that are drilled in the front bumper? I have some bumper plugs that I want to try out but they will not work if the holes are greater than 1/4 inch. If the holes are larger than that and my plugs won't work, I don't want to remove the bracket. Anyone know? Thanks

Front license plate

I was going to drill hole into the bumper, then change my mind, I purchase a bracket that hide the plate away or show it, the back plate is the same as the front, you can get the white clips at the auto part stores, I think that they are all the same size, here is what I went with.https://www.g6ownersclub.com/forum/al...pictureid=1578

License plate bracket

I don't know if you want to go as far as I did, but I didn't want to drill into the bumper so this is what I did, and purchased it a auto sports online.
