Pulling my hair out for a missing Transmission Part

Hi everyone,

I joined the board to help my girlfriend get her G6 back on the road. We are trying to find this missing grommet or cover part number. The transmission is missing this next to the transmission fluid filler cap on top of the transmission. I've search fro hours and can't find a replacement part number.

The full transmission picture has the part in question. The other picture is the area that is missing the part. The metal looks too clean to have always been like that.

Any help on a part name or number would be greatly appreciated.
