Upper shock mount bolts rusted

Hi all. I was just about to replace my rear shocks when I notied that the upper shock mount bolts(the two bolts that the shock mount plate goes on to) are completely rusted out. No visible threads left. So, before I tear into the trunk to see if those bolts can be replaced, could anyone here tell me if they had a similar issue and what they did to replace them? Thanks.

I'm interested to hear how this thread develops. I was under the hood on Sunday and noticed that my front strut mounts on the towers were rusted pretty good. I was thinking I might replace them, but would likely have to get an alignment, too. Now knowing your rear shock mount bolts are rusted, I'll check those over, as well, and see if anyone else chimes in as to what they did.
