07 G6 GT Convertible 3.9 V6

Hello every body and happy holidays. My name is Lou and, I'm new on this form. I'm having two issues with my 07 G6 GT convertible. I bought the car used about a month ago from the second owner. The car has 87000 miles and, it's automatic. First issue is the oil light comes on for about a minute or two then it goes off. Then it will come on again in a couple hours. I was told there's an oil leak from the oil filter housing which is repaired with a new gasket. And oil pan gasket which has not been addressed yet. Second issue with the car is not starting. Two weeks after I bought the car one morning it did not start a series of clicks and nothing. I jump the car and had the battery and charging system checked. It came back fine. Then I was told it was the starter. Had the starter replaced with a new starter. Car ran fine started fine until this morning a week after the new starter was installed same thing series of clicks and no start. I would appreciate any help on these two issues

For the oil light, you need to 1. make sure you're not low on oil, 2. check the actual oil pressure with a gauge and 3. if the actual pressure is ok replace the oil pressure sender.

For the starting issue check all connections from the battery to the starter and power grounds. Also check the battery voltage when you try to start, it's possible something has killed your battery.

not sure about the oil issue. the clicking does sound a lot like dxg6 suggests. First thing I would try is a new battery assuming that the connections are all good and strong. always start with the low cost suggestions first. sounds like you maybe started at the high end. good luck.
