G6 battery drain
I have a 2010 g6 that as had issues with starting. If I leave it sit for over a day or so will have to jump. Quick background, issue started few years ago. Dealer blamed it on battery, so have had a couple new batteries. Also replaced all battery cables, connectors, ground. Problem still persisted so I took to electrical specialist who charged me 300 dollars and said that it could be the body control module, but couldn’t promise. Anyhow I brought to dealer and replaced the body control module. Issue stil persist. So now I have been trying to find the drain myself with multimeter. I disconnected the negative cable, removed fuse for interior lights so it wouldn’t affect it. So the initial reading was about 2.4 amps. After I removed fuse for OnStar it went down slightly. Then I finally got to radio fuse which dropped it to about 0.78 amps. Went to trunk fuse box and disconnected some fuse that said it was for a dvd changer and now reads 0.47 amps. No changes with any other fuses. According to what I read this is still to much draw. Does this mean I may have a bad radio? Any suggestions on what to do next would be appreciated.
