2008 g6 timing chain

Hi everyone I recently purchase a 2008 g6 from an auction, all I knew was it had a clean title and it started and drove, after purchasing and making the very slow ride home I could tell somthing was not right with the engine so i started digging and found the timing chain was in need of replacing, so I did my research as far as what it took to go about changing it, and I have been looking everywhere for the correct kit for my motor and can not find one with the variable timing sprockets so I was wondering if someone had a link that would help me out

I will generally try rockauto.com for parts. I can see they sell timing chains. Hope this helps.

Ditto...AND I see they list the VVT sprockets on a seperate engine heading Best to figure out all parts to the timing and renew all(chain guides sprockets gaskets) to do the job right. I've used RA for a long time now, service is great IF you order the right stuff, and prices are hard to beat unless you trust EBAY/Amazon (I don't).

EDIT: To the OP... Of course I take it you got a 2.4 motor model..... Best to list such things when asking about engine parts.

MMMMM..Could be, But the OP posted of VVT sprocketS. The 2.4 has 2 VVT sprockets , and the 3.5 has a single VVT sprocket. and listed on another part section as the 2.4 I looked at on rockauto.com...the 3.5's sprocket is rather pricey....
As I stated elsewhere, I'm a long time MOPAR guy, was not aware that my newly acquired 08gt(3.5) had the VVT system in it. Our G6 is the wife's choice, as she came from a family of Pontiac only owners. AND she is VERY HAPPY with this car. I however mourn having to let our rare for the area 98 Avenger es sold off when she saw the G6!

All the same, but both these motors are pretty universal thru the GM line so there should NOT be any problem looking up internal motor parts even though PONTIAC is now DEAD.
