Your Complaint Information is successfully submitted.
Your Confirmation number (ODI Number) is: 10141469

Those with steering problems serious about getting this fixed please report to this website and file a report. I will be providing them with whatever information they need to research this..including the recent ability to replicate the problem. The Malibu appears to have had serious issues in 2004 (the same year my car was made) and its possible the components were the same ones with problems. We need answers!!!

I found these two other complaints (plus mine makes 3) already filed.

From what I was reading the same thing happened with 2004 Malibus and no one believe them either. Not sure how they resolved the situation. Im still reading up.

About 24 total complains filed from what I can see... a handful are not the exact problem we have described..the remaining are exactly the same problem we are having.

The 2004 Malibu had a recall on that issue. I think I posted a link to one of the documents related to it on one of these threads. However just check their investigation part of site for 2004 Malibu to find it yourself.
